Have you ever thought to yourself,"I'm done homeschooling." I surely have. In fact, I experienced that recently.
I was done. I had enough. Thoughts went through my head that my kids could have it so much better. Another teacher would be more equipped to teach my children. It was as if I hit a road block, and I wasn't able to go any further.
So I could give up, or I could hit a reset button. You may ask what I chose to do. As the saying goes, My decision was to "Suck it up Butter cup". Tomorrow is another day!
Here are a few points that were a help and encouragement to me, and I hope they are to you also.
1. You are not alone..You can do this.
Joshua 1:9
"Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither he thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."
2. Prayer. This is the most important thing. Pray before you start your homeschool day! Trust me! It helps.
Psalms 61:1-2
"Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I."
3. Try and see the positive (happiness) in every situation!
Proverbs 17:22
"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones."
